Arthur J. “Art” Bol, 87, of Dayton, died October 7, in his home. He had been in failing health. He was born February 13, 1912, in Paragould, Arkansas and attended Jefferson High School. He lived in Tippecanoe County most of his life. He married Mary Jane Biery and she survives. Mr Bol had been a farmer in the Dayton, Romney and Rossville areas. He was a ember of Dayton United Methodist Church. Along with his wife, he is survived by three daughters, Mrs Roy (Marietta M) Hatke, Mrs Rondal (Paulette) Lambirth and Mrs John (Lana) Rice, all of Lafayette; nine grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two grandchildren and two brothers, Leonard and Henry Bol. Richards-Loy and Wheeler Funeral Home handled arrangements with the Rev John Walls and Pastor Bill Cox officiating. Interment Wyandotte Cemetery. Memorials can be made to Dayton United Methodist Church Art Bol Memorial Fund or the charity of one’s choice.
