A resident and native of Baton Rouge, she died at 4:30 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 8, 2010, at her home. She was 87. Visiting at Hall's Celebration Center, 9348 Scenic Highway, Thursday, Aug. 12, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Visiting at Oasis Christian Center on Friday from 9 a.m. until religious service at 10 a.m., conducted by Bishop Howard Quillen Jr. Interment in Port Hudson National Cemetery, Zachary. Survived by her husband, William H. Bolden; godson, Bishop Charles Wallace; three sisters, Alberta Williams, Los Angeles, Leola Pitts and Lenna Pierce, both of Amite; and five sisters-in-law. Preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Susie Bradford; four sisters and five brothers. Arrangements by Hall Davis & Son.
