Obituary: Christopher Bombeck of Bethlehem Center (NY) Dies at City Hospital. Christopher Bombeck, son of Henry and Anna C. Bombeck passed away at the Albany City Hospital on December 24, at the early age of 30 years. He had undergone a serious operation a short time before. "Chrissie" as his friends familiarly called him, and of which he had many, at his country's call responded, and was soon sent across where he remained until the war ended. While in England he was married [Lillian Kathleen Toft].

Before going overseas, he was in the employ of the International Harvester Company, and because of his fine business ability he was placing himself in the line of promotion.

The funeral services were held at the residence of is father on Friday, December 26. Rev. Charles Malory officiated, and interment in Elmwood Cemetery (Bethlehem, NY).
