He proudly served in the United States Army and United States Air Force for six years. After serving his country he move to California and resided in San Bernardino County for about 50 years. Richard was a humble loving man. Slow to anger and always willing to help. No one has ever met him that didn't walk away with a little more love in their heart. His impact on people is everlasting and sense of humor was refreshing. He will be forever missed and loved by all. He is survived by Sons; Richard Bond, John Zielinski, and Jerry Zielinski, his daughter; Jasmine Alvarez, and 11 grandchildren.
