Chico Record (Chico, California) 21 Apr 1928, Saturday Page 2: Mrs. Lydia J. Adamson Dies. Mrs. Lydia Jane Adamson, a resident of Chico since 1893, died yesterday morning at 2 o’clock at her home in Pomona Avenue at the age of 66 years.

Mrs. Adamson was widely known in this city, having been a member of the First Baptist church for 33 years, and a member of the Neighbors of Woodcraft.

Mrs. Adamson moved to Chico in February 8193, from Jewell Junction, Iowa, and had lived here ever since, making a wide circle of friends who will mourn her passing.

The funeral will be held this afternoon at 2:30 o’clock in the First Baptist Church, with the Rev. L.G. Morony officiating. Burial will be in Chico Cemetery. The Westfall Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Besides the widower, John H. Adamson, Mrs. Adamson leaves the following sons and daughters:

Mrs. Lewis E. Couey of Klamath Falls, Mrs. H.H. Fairman of Chico, Mrs. G.W. Hardy of Chico; E.G. Adamson of Niles, and Frank L. Adamson of Chico. Twelve grandchildren and eight great grandchildren also survive besides the following sisters and brother: Mrs. Mary Kyte of Yakima, Wash., and Mrs. Etta Hinds of Lakeside, Ore.; Albert and Lon Bond of Chico.
