Mr. Bonner was born Dec. 21, 1908 in Sulphur Springs, Tex. He moved to Casa Grande 45 years ago from Muskogee, Oklahoma.
He owned the Cozy Spot from 1948 until 1969. He worked as a maintenance man for Valley National Bank for eight years. Prior to his death, he was employed as a maintenance worker at Fred Schmitt Chevrolet.
Survivors include his wife, Lavada, Casa Grande; his daughter, Mrs. Betty Walker, and his son, Michael, both of Phoenix, his brothers, Albert of Casa Grande, Naymon, Los Angeles, Calif., David, Riverside, Calif, and Matthew, Phoenix; three grandsons and one great-grandson.
Universal Memorial Center, Phoenix, is in charge of arrangements.
