Becker, Blanch Myra (nee Boon) passed away at Red Deer on Thursday, October 17, 1996 at the age of 75 years. Blanch was born in South Wales on 3 July 1921 to George and Ethel (Hartland). She was predeceased by her parents, six brothers, three sisters, her husband George and one grandson, Adam Becker. She will be lovingly remembered by one brother, Ed of B.C., her eight children, Richard (Lorraine) of Calgary, Leonard (Shari) of Red Deer, Howard (Susan) of Victoria, B.C., Frank (Judi) of Innisfail, Jerry (Dixie), Mike (Marg), Judy (Tim) Wilton, Larry (Norma) of Red Deer, twenty grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Blanch's greatest love was her family. Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Eventide Funeral Chapel, Red Deer, on Tuesday evening, 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Funeral services for the late Blanch Myra Becker will be held at the Eventide Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, October 23, 1996 at 2:00 p.m. with Associate Minister, Mrs. Leanne Hall officiating. Interment will follow in the Alto-Reste Memorial Gardens. If friends desire, memorial tributes may be made directly to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Alberta, #101, 5208 - 53 Avenue, Red Deer, Alberta. T4N 5K2. Arrangements in care of Eventide Funeral Chapels, 4820 - 45 Street, Red Deer.
