Emily Booth, 98 years old, a lifelong Peekskill resident, died January 7, 2011. She was a secretary for many years at Graymoor in Garrison, retiring in 1974. She has been a member of the Jehovah’s Witness for many years. She loved to crochet, and enjoying giving scarves, hats and baby blankets to her friends. Emily is survived by her stepson and wife, John and Colleen Booth and brother, James Bourne. She was predeceased by: her husband, Lester Booth, on February 27, 1993, her stepson, Lester James Booth, Jr. and 4 brothers, William, John, Edward and Robert Bourne. The family will receive friends from 7-9 PM on Monday, January 10, 2011 at the E.O. CURRY FUNERAL HOME, where Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, Jan. 11th, followed by interment at Assumption Cemetery, Cortlandt Manor.
