Mrs. Lois Elizabeth Bates, 76, of Rosalie died Sunday, November 27, 2005, in Huntsville.
Services were held Tuesday, November 29, from the Kerby Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Billy Anderton officiating. Burial in the Concord Cemetery in Henagar with Kerby Funeral Home of Henagar directing.
Survivors include: two sons, Danny Bates of Guin and John Bates of Henagar; sister, Margie Robertson of Rosalie; six grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Bates was preceded in death by her parents, William and Leavie Smith Boozer; husband, Herman Bates; son, Ricky Bates; brother, Elmer Boozer; and sister, Ellen Smith.
