Clifford C. Borah, 87, of Nampa, died Wednesday, Feb. 7, 1996, at home of natural causes. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Monday, February 12, at Nampa First Church of the Nazarene, 600 15th Ave. S. Rev. Kenneth Ball, rev. Robert Miller, and Dr. Stephen Borger will officiate. Private burial will precede the services at Kohlerlawn Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Alsip Funeral Chapel, Nampa.
Clifford was born Oct. 13, 1908, in Oldham, South Dakota, the youngest of 11 children born to Joseph V. and Gertrude E. Hunt Borah. He graduated from high school in Madison, S. Dakota, in 1929 and attended Brookings School of Agriculture in Huron, S. Dakota. In 1935 he married Sadie L. Gause and moved to Hoffman, Minn., where he farmed until 1950. Sadie died in 1943. In 1951 he moved to Weiser, Idaho, where he married Wilma Steiger Nichols. They farmed in Wilder before moving to farm in Nampa in 1957. He also worked for Fleetwood Homes until he retired.
Clifford was an active member of Nampa First Church of the Nazarene and also the King's Travelers RV group.
He is survived by his wife, Wilma of Nampa; 3 daughters and sons-in-law, Marlus and Jack Johns of Nampa, Marlene and Ron Phillips of Topeka, Ill., and Marcene and Arden Casper of Boise; 2 sons and daughters-in-law, Delbert and Jeanne Borah of Silverton, Ore., and Lyle and Marlene Borah of Nampa; a sister Leah Sawyer of Portland, Oregon
