LOUISE BORDELON ADAMS, 84, died peacefully at her home in Houston, Texas on Monday, May 5, 2008. She was born in Alexandria March 5, 1924 to Edwin and Hattie (Villmarette) Bordelon. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband and her only brother and his wife, Julius and Edna Mae Bordelon. A graduate of St. Xavier High School, Louise married Farrell W. Adams on May 10, 1946. The couple lived in Baton Rouge, New Iberia, Monroe and Shreveport before Farrell was transferred to Houston by United Gas Corp. in 1974.

Louise leaves behind daughter, Christine Brunsman and husband Steve of Houston, Texas and their sons, John and Michael McWilliams; son, Ken Adams and wife Britt of Austin, Texas and their children, Zephyn and Zarina; daughter, Lynn Adams and husband Loren Fredlund of Austin; son, Jim Adams of Palmer Lake, Colo. and his daughter, Amber; numerous nieces, nephews, and their children; and her beloved pet, Louie.

Family and friends gather to remember Louise at a Visitation and Celebration of Life service on Wednesday, May 7 at Cypress-Fairbanks Funeral Home. The Funeral Mass was held at 3:00 p.m., Thursday, May 8 at St. Francis Xavier Cathedral, 626 4th St., Alexandria. Burial followed at Alexandria Memorial Gardens.
