WORCESTER - Lavinia "Vicki" (McMillan) Strodemier Boss, 75, of 10 Colonial Drive, Millbury, formerly of Worcester, a longtime waitress, died Monday, Nov. 8 in St. Vincent Hospital after an illness.
Her husband, Wallace R. Boss, died in 1987. She leaves a daughter, Sandy Cristo of Millbury; a brother, Robert McMillan of Bedford, N.H.; two sisters, Ann Anderson and Peg McMillan, both of San Gabriel, Calif.; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; nephews and nieces. Her first husband, Alan Strodemier, died in 1994. A brother James T. McMillan of Worcester, died in 1997. A sister, May McMillan of Worcester, died many years ago. She was born in Scotland, daughter of James and Jean (Haig) McMillan, and lived here most of her life.
Mrs. Boss was a waitress at Dino's Ristorante for many years, retiring in 1986. She previously worked at Brite Cleaners, Launderers & Shoe Repair.
She was a member of Park Congregational Church.
The funeral will be held Thursday, Nov. 11 from Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home, 12 Hammond St., with a service at 10 a.m. in Park Congregational Church, 80 Russell St. Entombment will be in Notre Dame Cemetery Mausoleum. Calling hours are 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 10 at the funeral Home. Flowers may be sent, or contributions made to Park Congregational Church, Memorial Fund, 80 Russell St., Worcester, MA 01609.
