Charles R. Boswell, 66, retired
Federal Bakeries manager and uncle
of the famed Boswell Sisters, radio
singers, died Sunday morning, July
28th, at the home of Major and Mrs.
Lloyd of Peekskill Hollow road,
Where he had been residing for about
four years with his wife.

Mr. Boswell had made a number
of friends in Peekskill since he took
up residence at the Lloyd home. In
1925, ne retired from his position
with the Federal Bakeries for
which he had managed stores in
Alabama,, Louisiana and Mississippi.

Mr Boswell had suffered a heart attack
two months ago and had been
confined since that time.
In 1925 Mr Boswell retired from his position with the Federal Bakeries, for whom he had been manager
He is survived by his widow, Martha C. Boswell; a brother, A. C. Boswell, Jr., of New Orleans; and three
nieces, Martha, Connie and Vet.
The funeral service was held on
Tuesday afternoon at 3 o'clock at his
late residence. Service was conducted
by Rev. George M. Cordner, • pastor of
Putnam Valley Methodist churches,
assisted by Judge John White.
Interment was made at Hillside
