Marguerite passed away in the early morning hours on Thursday at the Coos County Nursing Home, Berlin, N.H.

She was born in Berlin a daughter of the late Arthur and Roseanna (Filteau) Boulanger. She attended local schools, and was a 1947 graduate of Notre Dame High School. She was married to Norman J. Bergeron and together they raised six children.

She was employed as a bookkeeper and worked for many years for St. Louis Hospital and Androscoggin Valley Hospital, and later for Oliver Morneau and Bob Morrissette retiring in 1993. In her retirement years, she enjoyed playing cards and Bingo, golfing and bowling, and also the computer. She also used to enjoy her trips to Foxwoods. She was a communicant of the former St. Joseph Parish and had been involved with MESH. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her husband of more than 58 years, Norman; her son, David R. Bergeron and his wife, Joann, of Lewiston; her daughters, Sandra Cere and her husband, William, of West Milan, Susan Warren of Berlin, Rachel Fredette and her husband, Richard, of Merrimack and Anne Brown and her husband, Charles of South Barre, Vt.; a brother, Arthur Boulanger, and a sister, Jeannette Legere, both of Berlin; she will also be remembered by her seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents; her son, Paul R. Bergeron in 1985; and several siblings.

BERGERON - Marguerite R., 78, died Dec. 13. Friends and relatives may call on the family on Friday, Dec. 14, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Fleury-Patry Funeral Home, 72 High St., Berlin, using the School Street entrance. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, Dec. 15, at 9 a.m. at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish, 345 Pleasant St., Berlin, with the Rev. Jeffrey Statz officiating. Interment will immediately follow the services in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Cates Hill Road in Berlin. Donations in Mrs. Bergeron's memory may be made to either the Coos County Nursing Home, c/o Activities Fund, 366 Cates Hill Road, Berlin, NH 03570, or to the Alzheimer's Respite Community Center, 611 Sullivan St., Berlin, NH 03570.
