Former Charlotte Bertram Returned Here From New York City After Death of Husband

Mrs. Charlotte Bertram Boulger, 56, well known resident of Wilkes-Barre, and a sister of Patrolman Anthony Bertram of the city police force, died suddenly this morning at 3 o'clock at the latter's home, 62 Lehigh street, where she had resided for four years.
Mrs. Boulger had been in apparent good health as late as last evening, and her sudden demise was a shock to a wide circle of friends.
She was born in this city, and attended St. Nicholas school. After marriage, she established residence in New York City, and upon the death of her husband, Edward, in 1937 Mrs. Boulger returned to this city to live with her brother.
She was a communicant of St. Nicholas Church, and was affiliated with several of the women's societies of that congregation.
Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Louise Keller, of Wilkes-Barre, and four brothers, Henry, Nicholas and Anthony, of this city, and John Bertram, of New York.
The funeral will probably be held from the home Thursday morning, followed by a requiem high mass in St. Nicholas Church.
