Mrs. Bowden was a native of Norfolk and was a member of Colonial Avenue United Methodist Church in Norfolk. She was a kind, patient, angel of a woman who devoted her life to her family and she will be missed by all who knew her.
Graveside services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Thursday at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens by the Rev. Evelyn Puckett. Memorial donations may be made to the Sentara Hospice Association or to the Leukemia Society of America, 2101 Executive Drive, Box 21, Hampton, VA 23666. The family will receive friends in the Norfolk Chapel of H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts. today from 7 to 8 p.m.
