CHINCOTEAGUE - Funeral services will be held here today at 2pm in the Salyer Funeral Home for Mrs. Ada Bowden, of Chincoteague. She died Friday in the Dorchester General Hospital, Cambridge, after a long illness. Interment will be in Chincoteague's Red Men's Cemetery. Born here, she was a daughter of the late John C and Andasia Burch Jester. Her late husband was Morris Bowden. A sister, Mrs. Esther Jester, also of Chincoteague, died March 25 and her funeral was on March 28 at the Salyer Funeral Home. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Phyllis Francis and Mrs. Mildred Brewington, Salisbury; a son, Donald L Bowden, Crisfield; 19 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Florence Scull, Salisbury, and three brothers, William F and Clifton Jester, Chincoteague, and Robert Jester, Newark, Md.
