Sharon professed a hope in Christ at an early age and became a member of True Vine Ministries. She was a 1980 graduate of North High School, and played the clarinet in the marching band. She also participated in Modern Dance.
She was united in Holy Matrimony to Leonard (Linny) Bennett, and to this union one son,Daniel, was born. The family move to Independence,Kansa and later moved to Garland Texas. The marriage ended in divorce. Sharn then resided in Louisville,Texas where she lived for more than 20 years. She worked, intermittently, as a Unit Clerk in a Dallas Hospital. Because of her health, she could not continue gainful employment.
Sharon returned to Oklahoma in 2009 in order to be near her family. She participated in the Breast Cancer Awareness and was active in Breast Cancer walks. Sharon was loving and kind, and enjoyed visiting and talking with family and friends.
She fell asleep in the Lord at 6:40 am. June 14, 2013. She leaves to cherish her memory her son Daniel Bennett, Tulsa, OK., father, Earnest (Jo Ann) Bowler Sr., 4 brothers, Anthony (lisa) Bowler,Katy, TX., Attorney Dekovan (Gertie) Bowler Sr., Ernest (LaSonya) Bowler., and Kevin (Jazele) Bowler, 2 sisters, debra (Carl) Nelson, LaTonya Bowler, Special Niece, Kenya Bowler, Dallas TX., special friend, Gordon Williams, and a host of other relatives and friends.
