Mrs. Mamie Adams
Services for Mrs. Mamie Burrow Bowman Adams 84, Readyville, who died Monday, April 15, at Middle Tennessee Medical Center, are set for 10 a.m. Thursday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Mike Hollaway will officiate.
A native of Cannon County, her parents were the late John and Pearl Bivins Bowman. Her husband was the late Raymond Adams who died in 1993.
She is survived by two sons, Roy and David Adams, both of Readyville; four daughters, Lillie Quarles, Pearl James, June Scott, all of Murfreesboro, and Joyce Jones of Christiana; 14 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
A member of the Antioch Church of Christ and a retired employee of Colonial Shirt Co., she was a graduate of Kittrell High School.
Visitation will be held after 3 p.m. Wednesday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel.
