Pamela Kay was born July 20, 1954 to Robert and Josephine Boydston in Pasadena, Texas. She was joined in November of 1958 by her sister Kathy.
For Pam, family was paramount, and centered on her husband and love of forty- eight years. Pamela Kay Boydston married Steven Wayne Barton on July 21, 1972; the day after her 18th birthday. They were high school sweethearts - the kind that only movies from the 1950's still showcase.
Pam and Steve had three beautiful children; Robert (Bobby) Wayne, Timothy Bryan, and Melissa DeAnn. Pam was a devoted Mother, and relished in their many accomplishments. Through the years, Pam warmly welcomed Bobby's wife, Paula, Timothy's wife, Megan, and Melissa's husband, Robbie into her family.
Pam also took great pride in her professional life at Kaneka Texas Corporation, where she devoted over 35 years of her expertise and singular knowledge to the manufacturing company as an integral component to their administrative branch. As such, she helped to secure Kanekas' standing as the largest impact modifier plant in the world.
Certainly, Pam's greatest joy later in life was spending time with her three wonderful grandchildren whom she loved immeasurably; Brody Alexander age 6, Connor Bailey age 3, and Tucker Lee age 16 months.
Pamela Kay Barton, our beloved sister, wife, Mother, Grandmother and friend went to be with our Father in heaven March 15th, 2017. We love you.
