George B. Boyer died at the home of his son-in-law, George A. Apgar, No. 437 Tilghman street, Allentown, on Wednesday evening, after a lingering illness with a complication of diseases, aged 67 years. Deceased was a native of Schuylkill county. He is survivved by his second wife, Adeline Apgar Boyer, and two children, Lewis E. Boyer, of South Easton, and Sallie Boyer Apgar, with whom he resided. These brothers and sisters also survive: William Boyer, South Easton; Lawrence Boyer, Indiana; Joseph Boyer, Orwigsburg; Mrs. Matilda Elliot, of Tower City; and Mrs. Annie Gerber, of Lehighton.

Rev. C. D. Huber will conduct short funeral services at the home of the son in law, George A. Apgar, in Allentown, on Saturday morning at 9:15 o'clock. The funeral cortege will take the 9.47 train for Easton, where regular services will be held and internment made.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral services at Hay's Church, Saturday, February 9th at 11.30 a.m. (upon arrival of 11:16 a.m. Lehigh Valley train).



Remains Interred Here


The remains of George B. Boyer, who died in Allentown, were brought to this city this morning. Services were held at Hay's Chaptel and were conducted by a Lutheran pastor of Alllentown and from Lebanon. The interment was made in Hay's Cemetery.
