Mrs. Catharine Beck died at half past 1 o'clock yesterday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Mary Woodring, No. 138 North Eighth street, after three weeks' illness with typhoid fever. She was 64 years and 9 days of age and was the widow of William J. Beck, who died fifteen years ago at Hecktown, Northampton county, where he was a prominent merchant for many years. She leaves, besides her daughter, four grandchildren and one brother, Reuben, of Hecktown.

The funeral will be held on Thursday, with short services at the house at noon, after which the remains were taken to the Dryland Union Church, Hecktown, where services and burial will take place, Revs. Wotring, of Nazareth, and Bieber, of Bethlehem, officiating.
