Mrs. Josephine Bozeman Adair, age 88, formerly of Dykes Creek Community, passed away Sunday, January 8, 2017.

Mrs. Adair was born May 26, 1928, in Floyd County, a daughter of the late A. L. Bozeman, and Lollie Satcher Bozeman. She was a member of Dykes Creek Baptist Church, she was retired from Lunch Room at Johnson School, she volunteered at Harbin Clinic and voting polls on Kingston Road. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Adair, brothers, Allan Bozeman, and Glynn Bozeman.

Survivors include, daughter, Carolyn (Micky) Drummond, Cedartown; sons, Charles ( Pat) Adair, Adairsville; Christopher Adair, Adairsville; grandchildren, Dennis (Rena) Drummond, Joy Drummond, Jeff (Jennifer) Adair, Jenni Adair, great-grandchildren, Benji, Mary Grace, Billy and Celeste; several nieces nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 11, 2017, at Good Shepherd Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Mikel Garrett, officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Hill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 12:00 P.M. until the hour of service, on Wednesday, at Good Shepherd Funeral Home, 2750 Shorter Ave. Rome, Ga. 30165.
