BRADFORD Arthur Edward, 42667, Corporal, 8th Battalion, formerly 16845 Lincolns. Son of James Clarkston Bradford and Martha Bradford, of Barkston Le Willows, Lincs.. born Barkston, Lincs, enlisted Nottingham, resident Grantham, Lincs. Killed in action 20th August 1918, aged 21, interred SANDPITS BRITISH CEMETERY, FOUQUEREUIL, Pas de Calais, France. IV. D. 5. Commemorated Barkston.

Mr and Mrs J. Bradford, have received the sad news that their eldest son. Corpl. Arthur E, Bradford, was killed in action, in France, on August 19th. He was aged 21. In a letter to the parents, a friend of the deceased he was killed instantly by a shell. Corpl Bradford was also wounded in the shoulder November 1916.
