Mr and Mrs J. Bradford, have received the sad news that their eldest son. Corpl. Arthur E, Bradford, was killed in action, in France, on August 19th. He was aged 21. In a letter to the parents, a friend of the deceased he was killed instantly by a shell. Corpl Bradford was also wounded in the shoulder November 1916.
