Emelia E. Tucker Brady passed away May 26, 2017. She was born Nov. 9, 1930, in Newark, N.J., the youngest of four children of Caroline and Andrew Tucker, and enjoyed a life spanning 86 wonderful years. Emelia joined the U.S. Air Force after graduating from high school. She was assigned in Montana as an Air Force Recruiter. After leaving the military, she relocated to California and worked for Pacific Bell. Her career ultimately led her to Las Vegas, where she met and married Leo F. Brady. Emelia is survived by five children, including her daughter, Andrea and stepchildren, Karen, Scott, Steve and Dean; nieces and nephews of her brother, Ray, and sister, Caroline; and 10 grandchildren. Emelia enjoyed her home, which she and Leo designed and built. She is blessed with many good friends, truly the measure of a wealthy life.
Memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 3, at Our Lady of Las Vegas Catholic Church, 3050 Alta Drive, Las Vegas.
