Darlene M. Burton, 81, of Jones Street, Carlsbad, NM, passed away Monday, October 26, 2015 at Lubbock, Texas.
Visitation will be 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM, Friday, October 30, 2015 at Denton-Wood Funeral Home.
Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, October 31, 2015, 10:00 AM, at Denton-Wood Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Tarvin officiating.
Interment will follow in Loving Cemetery, Loving, New Mexico.

Darlene M. Burton was born June 24, 1934 to Moman and Laverne (Wright) Bratton in Brown County, Texas. She graduated from Pecos High School in 1950. Darlene enjoyed sewing, crocheting, embroidery, building dollhouses and working crossword puzzles. She loved singing and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, J. L. Bratton and sister, Wanda Cunningham.
Survivors are her husband, Noley H. Burton of Carlsbad, NM; children: Sharon Giovengo and husband, Johnny of Loving, NM, Tony Burton and wife, Danielle of Carlsbad, NM, Charla A. Smith and husband, Gary of Abernathy, TX; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; sister, Doris Bellah of Lubbock, TX and many nieces and nephews,
