Mrs. Edna Brewer Barefoot, 72, of Wade, died Sunday at Bethesda Health Care in Eastover. The Sampson County native was a daughter of the late William J. and Mildred Hudson Brewer, and widow of Person Olive Barefoot. Mrs. Barefoot retired from Cape Fear Valley Medical Center as a Unit Secretary.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday at Antioch Baptist Church in Falcon with Rev. Sam McLamb officiating. Burial will; be in Old Bluff Cemetery.
Surviving are sons; Bobby Earl Barefoot and wife Yolanda, and Jackie Alton Barefoot all of Wade, daughters; Vivian Sessoms and husband Tommy of Wade, and Debbie Eason of Dunn, brothers; Larry Brewer and Waylon Brewer both of Dunn, sisters; Shelby Grimmer of Tarboro and Hilda Cook of Dunn. Four Grandchildren and five Great-grandchildren also survive
