GALESBURG -- Myra Briggs, 79, of 1057 Garden Lane died at 8:25 a.m. Sunday, July 31, 1994, at Rosewood Care Center.
Born Oct. 10, 1914, in Muscoda, Wis., to Roy and Leona Richardson Standish, she married Frank Briggs. He died in November 1979. Three sisters and two brothers also preceded her in death.
Surviving are one brother, Leslie Standish, and one sister, Lois Hanson, both of Mauston, Wis.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Phillip Bevard will officiate. Visitation will be one hour before services at Watson Funeral Home.
