Mrs. Lydia Berghorn, nee Briggs, was born January 19, 1850 in Ela township, Illinois and passed away at her home and the corner of route 22 and and Quentins road on Tuesday afternoon, June 16, 1942 at the age of 92 years, 4 months and 27 days.
Mrs. Berghorn was united in marriage to Mr. Wm. L. Berghorn, October 12, 1875 in New Lennox, Illinois. After marriage this couple came to make their home in Ela twp., Illinois, where they have made their home for many and many a year. Mr. Berghorn passed away in 1933.
She leaves to mourn her departure, two children, Effie Berghorn and Arthur Berghorn, who reside at home; 1 brother, Mr. Arthur Briggs; 1 sister-in-law, Mrs. Mary Berghorn and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon, June 19, 1942 at 2 p.m. at Karstens Funeral Home at Arlington Heights and interment will be in Fairfield cemetery.
