Mary Sue Barringer, 61, widow of James M. "Jim" Barringer, died Friday, January 11, 2002, in a Georgetown hospital

Funeral services will be held Monday, January 14, 2002, at 3 p.m., in Maryville Pentecostal Holiness Church. Officiating will be Rev. Tommy Cox and Rev. David Coker. Burial, directed by GRAHAM FUNERAL HOME, will follow in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens.

She was born, September 29, 1940, in Georgetown County, a daughter of the late Arnie Elgin Brinson and Sarah Leona Lambert Brinson.

She was a retired employee of the Seafood Kitchen Restaurant. She was a member of Maryville Pentecostal Holiness Church and was a Nursery Department Sunday School teacher and a member of the Women's Ministry of the church.

Surviving are, one daughter, Tena LaJean B. Wilder and her husband, Terry of Georgetown; one son, Timothy G. Howard and his wife, Darlene of Georgetown; four grandchildren, Kelsey Howard, Kellie Howard, Cody Wilder and Chandler Wilder; two sisters, Geraldine B. Tolar of Goose Creek and Deloris B. Novy of Charleston; one brother, Arnie Lavern Brinson of Charleston, and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a daughter, Susan H. Smith in January of 2001.
