Mrs. Lila Brinson Allen, 81, widow of J.J. Allen, died Thursday at a Georgetown nursing home.
Mrs. Allen was born at Claxton, GA a daughter of the late Jasper Brinson and Mrs. Frances Skinner Brinson. She was a Baptist.
Surviving are; a daughter, Mrs. J.E. Horton of Ridgeland; 4 sons, Jack F. Woodward, William D. Woodward and Thomas W. Woodward, all of Georgetown, and James E. Woodward of Huntsville, Al.; a sister, Mrs. J.W. McQuage of Jacksonville, FL; 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
