She was born July 14, 1923 in Beaumont to James and Frances Brinson.
She was a homemaker for most of her life, and loved gardening, traveling and water aerobics. She was a lifetime member of the PTA, she spent nearly 50 years teaching and helping with VBS. At 87 years of age, she went on her first mission trip, traveling to Greece and Thailand. She deeply loved her family and will truly be missed by all.
She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Frances Brinson, her husband of 50 years, Milburn "Bud" Amy Sr., and one brother, Jimmy Brinson.
She is survived by three sons, Milburn O. Amy Jr., James Amy, and Peter Amy; one daughter, Barbara Amy, six grandchildren.
Interment: Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont, Texas.
