Bertha Green
Mrs. Bertha B. Green, 87, of Zanesville, who moved there from Xenia in 1967, died at her home Sunday night.
Her husband, Thomas H., a Xenia photographer, preceded her in death.
Born May 18, 1888 in Mississippi, she was the daughter of Frank and Lillian Brinson. While residing in Xenia, she was a member and pianist at Bethel Temple and taught in the local school system.
Surviving are three sons, Brinson (Theodore), Thomas H.. II and Robert, all of Xenia; three daughters, Mrs. Edna Williams of Xenia and ZMrs. Helen (Harold) Fields and Mrs. Ruth (Frank) McDonald, both of Zanesville; two sisters, Mrs. Ruth Cornish of Los Angeles, Calif. and Mrs. Louise Price of Rentisville, Okla.; 22 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Servies will be conducted at the Apostolic Christian Church, Zanesville, at 11 a.m. Thursday in charge of Hillis Funeral Home there. Burial will be in Cherry Grove Cemetery, Xenia, about 3 p.m. that afternoon.
