Mr. Brantley Armstead Brock, Sr., 87, of 137 E. First Street, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 20, 2010 at the NC State Veterans Nursing Home.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, Oct. 23, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Fisher Cemetery in Stedman with the Rev. Andy Foley officiating.
Mr. Brock was an Army/Air Force veteran serving in World War II and was the Director of Engineering with Liggett-Myers in Durham before retiring.
Mr. Brock is survived by: son, Brant Brock and wife Debbie Faircloth, of Stedman; two grandchildren, Chris Brock of Wilmington and Caroline Blick and husband Jeff, of Greenville; great-granddaughter, Emma Brown, of Greenville; two step-grandchildren, Wil Godwin, of Carolina Beach and Jennifer Thorndyke and husband Jonathan, of Wilson.
The family will receive friends on Friday night from 6-8 PM at Butler Funeral Home, 6535 Clinton Road, Stedman, NC.
