Angela Marie Brockett Ancelet, 28, of Crawfordsville, Indiana, formerly of Burlington, died 11:02 a.m. Thursday, May 3, 2012 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Crawfordsville, Indiana.
Born January 24, 1984 in Burlington, she was the daughter of Jesse and Patricia "Patty" (Leonard) Brockett. She was a graduate of Burlington High School. She was a teacher's aide in high school and in college. She graduated with high honors from the University of Iowa where she earned her Liberal Arts degree in Greek and Latin. She then continued her education and earned her Master's degree at the St. University of St. Paul. She could translate five languages.
She was a sales manager at a ladies wear store in Crawfordsville.
She loved to knit, was an avid reader and bookworm.
Survivors include her parents; Jesse and Patty Brockett of Burlington; one sister, Rebecca Brockett of Mapelwood, MO; paternal grandmother, Shirley A. Brockett of Burlington; maternal grandmother, Pat Leonard of Burlington; two uncles, Jeff Brockett of Burlington and Donald Brockett of Birmingham; one aunt, Barbara White of Burlington; one great uncle, Jim Cook of Burlington and five cousins;
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather Harry Brockett.
Interment will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
