MRS. JOHN S. ANDREWS
Sara Jane (Jennie) Andrews, 99, of 600 Addison Street, Washington, died at 1:45 a.m. Thursday, October 3, 1974, in Washington Hospital.
She was born July 22, 1875, in Mercer County, a daughter of Charles and Eleanor Ann Zahniser Bromley, and had resided in Washington for over 85 years.
She was a member of the Church of the Covenant, a former member of the Washington Literary Club and Woman's Temperance Union, and was active in church affairs as long as her health permitted.
On July 24, 1901, she married John S. Andrews, who is deceased.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Mary Thistlehwaite and Jean Andrews, both at home; one son, Ray Andrews, Washington; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. One grandson is deceased.
Funeral arrangements will be announced by the Stewart F. Barnhill Funeral Home.

Barnhill Funeral Home, 420 Locust Avenue, where services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, October 5, with Rev. B. J. Cannon, pastor of the Church of the Covenant,, officiating. Burial in Washington Cemetery.
