Funeral Rites Set Tomorrow Morning For Local Woman

Mrs. Elizabeth Brough Baxter, 78, of 805 East Clinton street, died at the Huntsville hospital at 4:45, following a brief illness.

She was a member of the First Methodist church, and had lived in Huntsville 30 years.

Funeral services will be held at Laughlin-Service chapel tomorrow at 9:30 o'clock, with the Rev. Ira F. Hawkins officiating. The body will be carried to Birmingham for burial in Elmwood cemetery.

Surviving are two daughters, Miss Mary Jane Baxter and Miss Eloise Baxter, city; two sons, William Hubbard Baxter, Birmingham and Jesse C. Baxter, Tampa, Fla.; one sister, Mrs. Edward Alles, Jeffersonville, Ind.; and one brother, Lynn Brough, Louisville, Ky.

Pallbearers at the funeral will include Bruce Jacks, W. E. Rodgers, Joe Hill, J. P. Moore, B. Buford, E. E. Ragan, Ladd Pitts and B. H. Broadway.
