A family of five lost their lives in a tornado in New Perkin, Indiana. Those killed in the tragedy were Joe and Moriah Babcock and two of their children, Jaydon and Kendall. A third child, Angel, was found in a field and taken to a hospital in Kentucky where she passed away on Sunday, March 4 2012.

Moriah Leahann Brough, age 20, and Joseph Lee Babcock, age 21, of Pekin died Friday, March 2, 2012, along with members of their family in the tornado disaster.

Moriah was a homemaker and a member of Life Tabernacle Church.

Joseph Babcock was an employee of Lanham Sawmill. He was a member of Life Tabernacle Church in Salem.

They were fatally injured in the tornado disaster along with son, Jaydon Babcock; and daughters, Kendall Babcock and Angel Babcock of Pekin, who died at Kosair Hospital in Louisville Mar. 5.

Born December 10, 1991, Moriah was the daughter of Jack and Michelle Lee Brough.

She is survived by her father, Jack Brough of Pekin; a brother, Josh Brough of Jacksonville, Florida; two sisters, Kendra Brough of Louisville and Jayla Brough of Pekin; and a grandmother, Ruth Hardin of Paoli.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Michelle Brough.

Joseph Lee Babcock was born February 6, 1991 in Indianapolis, the son of Sherman Rose and Kathy Babcock.

He is survived by his mother, Kathy Babcock of Austin; his father, Sherman Rose of Austin; three brothers, Michael Lee Combs Jr. of New Albany, Jeffrey Babcock of Roanoke and James Babcock of Whitmore, Tennessee; two sisters, Kimberly White and Ashley Babcock, both of Roanoke; and grandparents, Brenda Hensley of Roanoke, Cora Rose of Austin and Donald Babcock of Salem.

A private burial will be held.

A memorial service will be held Monday at 3 p.m. Life Tabernacle Church.
