Mrs. Azilla Elizabeth Barr, 69, died yesterday morning at her home in Clyde following a short illness with pneumonia. Mrs. Barr was born in Clyde in 1862, and has been a lifelong resident of the place.
Surviving the well known pioneer is the husband, Hugh Barr, five sons, Elden, at home, Howard, of Vickery, Charles Barr, of Burgoon, Zeno and Gordon, of Clyde, and one daughter, Mrs. Violet Matter, of Clyde.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 at the Methodist Church in Clyde, and the pastor, Rev. W.D. Pearce, will officiate. Mrs. Barr was well known and popular, and many friends will regret to learn of her death. Burial will be made in McPherson cemetery.
