Funeral services for Louie Lee Broward will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday in the George H. Hewell and Son Northside Funeral Home, 4747 Main St. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery with Masonic and Eastern Star Rites conferred at the Grave. Mr. Broward of 743 Cedar Bay Rd., died Tuesday. He was a native and lifelong resident of Jacksonville, was a retired Building Contractor and was retired from the Seaboard Railroad. Mr. Broward was a member of the Springfield Advent Christian church, was a member and past master of the Oceanway Lodge F. and A. M. #279, a member and past Patron of the Oceanway Chapter of O.E.S. #217, a member of the Scottish Rite Bodies, a member of the Morocco Temple, the Gateway Shrine Club, and the High Twelve Club #421. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Madge Broward; 2 step-sons, William S. and Rev. Michael W. King; a number of nieces, cousins and a nephew. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Wednesday.
