BATTEN Agnes Fogarty Batten, 82, passed away on Tuesday, November 15, 2011. She was born February 20, 1929 in Jacksonville, FL to the late Montgumery & Ella Mae Broward. Agnes attended Andrew Jackson Sr. High school. She is predeceased by her husband, Tommy; brother, Charles and step sister, Sally Jo. Agnes is survived by her daughters, Diane Plymal, Barbara Carlisle (Kenny) and Pamela Pinner (Jimmy); brothers, Tommy Broward (Hilda), John Broward (Gwen) and Curtis Terrell (Bonnie); 8 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 19 at 2pm at Victory Baptist Church, 10613 Lem Turner Road, Jacksonville, with Pastor Martin Masitto and Bro. Jim Curtis officiating. Interment will follow in Restlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Friday evening (TODAY), from 6-8:30pm at Cedar Bay Funeral Home, 405 New Berlin Road, 714-1110.
