Sarah Cobb Brown b: Sept 30, 1750 Stonington, New London, Conn. M: Andrew Brown 2-14 1771. Sarah Cobb is a descendant of John Tilley, the sixteenth signer of the "Mayflower" compact and of John Howland, the thirteenth signer. This makes all the descendants of Andrew Brown eligible for membership in the society of Mayflower descendants. Andrew Brown and Sarah Cobb Brown had 11 children all born in Stonington between 1771 and 1794. They were Edward, Stanton, Sarah, Allen, Henry, Elias, Ezra, Paul, Katurah, Silas and Mary. 8 of them married and had children and 3 died at a very young age. This information is found in my Brown Genealogy Volume I by Cyrus Henry Brown 1829 of which I am a descendant!
