He was born in Oakland, Calif.
Mr. Brown in survived by his wife of 42 years, Bonnie J. Brown; his mother, Eileen Brown of Dublin, Calif.; his sister Carol Griffiths of Dublin; his children, Matthew (and Susan) Brown of Tracy, Jeffrey (and Stacie) Brown of Stockton, and Katie (and Ty) Alexander of Oceanside; and eight grandchildren, Musika Sarabia of Stockton, Marissa Brown of Stockton, Megan Brown of Tracy, James Alexander of Oceanside, Jonathon Brown of Stockton, Jordan Alexander of Oceanside, Sierra Brown of Tracy and Lacey Brown of Stockton.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Patricia Vanorden and Joyce Brown.
A purchasing agent for Electrical Supply House, Mr. Brown loved to fish, was an avid Raiders fan and loved Nascar. He was a complete handyman who could make anything from nothing and liked to hang out in his garage. He loved to work in his garden and spend time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend to many.
Services will be held at noon Friday, March 18, 2005, at Fry Memorial Chapel, 550 S. Central Ave., Tracy, Calif. Interment, Tracy Public Cemetery.
