Daughter of James A. Brown and Elizabeth Ann Skinner, wife of George Alexander, whom she married on April 27, 1905 in Brooklyn, NY, and mother of Josephine and Elizabeth Alexander.

In 1880, Ida Brown, aged 3, was shown living in Brookhaven, NY, with her parents, James Brown, aged 38, and Elizabeth Brown, aged 37, with siblings, Samuel Brown, 13, Irene Brown, 11, Viola Brown, 9, and Wilson Brown, aged 3. Her father was shown to be a sailmaker.

Mr. and Mrs. George Alexander Jr. of 2996 Bedford Avenue, celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary on Saturday. Mrs. Alexander entertained at luncheon and bridge in the afternoon and at dinner and bridge in the evening. Among the guests were Mrs. Charles B. Andrews, Mrs. George Alexander, Mrs. Herbert Campbell, Mrs. William Clark, Mrs. Alfred Brown, Mrs. Samuel S. Brown, Mrs. Robert E.
