Ada Edith Brown (Reeves) of Stockton, passed away on April 22, 2017 from cancer. She was born on January 14, 1939, and was the daughter of Lucille Miller Taylor and the granddaughter of John H.and Ada Miller.
Ada was a Drug and Alcohol Counselor at a Mission in Stockton. Ada served in missionary work all of her adult life. She attended Ladoga School from first grade through sophomore year. She then moved to Indianapolis where she graduated from Ben Davis High School in 1958.
She is survived by her daughter, Debbie Holton; grandchildren, Erin Srierwalt and Ben Stierwalt;4 great-grandchildren , Azaiah, Damon, Avery, and Edmond;sister Sue (Joe)Warters, of Crawfordsville; two nieces, Sandra (John)Henderson of Linden and Deb (Mike) Corcoran of Crawfordsville;2 great-nieces, Erin Harper of Layfayette and Charlee Caudill of Charleston, IL. She was preceded in death by her mother, Lucille Miller Taylor;her grandparents, John H. and Ada Miller; and her brother Franklin Reeves.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 19, 2017, at Lodi Memorial Cemetery.
