She professed a hope in Christ at an early age at Cumberland Street Baptist Church. She was educated in the Jackson City School System. She was an employee at Burger King on South Highland Avenue in Jackson, Tennessee.
She leaves to cherish her memory her mother: Mary L. Brown Tyson; step-father: William Tyson; children: Edward (Tereva Tomlinson) Glass and Edmund (Tierra) Glass; sister: Cynthia (Calvin) Fuller; step-daughters: Kebra Glass, Adria Glass and Cassandra Robinson; step-sisters: Quianna Ross Sharon Johnson and Cynthia Tyson.
