Vere Ward Brown, a bachelor, a Merchant, from Oakland, Rathgar, Dublin, son of Hugh Brown, Merchant, J.P., and Eleanor Swift Deverell, a minor, a spinster, from Drumbar, daughter of Frederick George Deverell, a Civil Engineer, were married on 3 October 1877, at Drumbar Parish Church, Cavan.

Frederick G. Deverell,
Hugh Brown.

No member of the Brown family appears to have been recorded in the 1911 census of Ireland.

Her son, Captain Frederick George Brown died in WW1.

Death.
Eleanor Swift Brown, aged 63, a widow, died on 9 May 1922, at 22 Highfield Road, Rathgar.
