Donna M. Aaberg, age 62 of Starbuck died, Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at the Minnewaska Lutheran Home in Starbuck. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, December 27th at the funeral home in Glenwood. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be in Lake Amelia Cemetery. Arrangements are with the Hoplin-Hitchcock Funeral Home in Glenwood
Donna Mae Brown, the daughter of James and Inga (Teigen) Brown was born August 7, 1948 in Glenwood, Minnesota. Donna grew up in Villard where she attended school and graduated from the Villard High School.
After high school, Donna moved to the Cyrus and Starbuck area. She was employed as a custodian for the Starbuck School until health reasons forced her to retire. Donna enjoyed traveling when she was younger; watching television, especially the lifetime channel, and playing cards, her favorite game was rummy. Donna loved to spend time with her family and friends, visiting and listening to music.
Donna is survived by her children, Melissa Aaberg of Starbuck and Kenneth Aaberg and his special friend Samantha Revak of Cyrus; siblings, Raymond Brown of Westport, Robert (Blanche) Brown of Lake City, MN, Gilman (special friend, Alice Winters) Brown of Minneapolis, Richard (Delores) Brown of Ramsey, Donald (JoAnne) Brown of Grove Lake, Ronald (Janice) Brown of Long Prairie, Alan (Jean) Brown of Sauk Rapids, and Joyce Moen of Cyrus; a dear friend, Colleen; and many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Inga Brown, brothers, Jerome, Gary, Bruce, and Harley Brown; and sisters, Doreen Miller and Doris Shaw.
