BRENT BROWNING

Our beloved Brent Matson Browning, age 15, died April 13, 1995 in Moab, Utah from injuries sustained in a jeep accident.

Born August 8, 1979 in Prineville, Oregon, son of Alan Kenneth and Peggy June Dillman Browning.

Active member of LDS Church. Sophomore at Taylorsville High School. He had a tremendous love for young children, his family, friends and music.

Survived by his parents, West Valley City; brothers, Kenneth Browning, BYU, Hawaii; Randy Browning, West Valley City; sisters, Shari (Jeff) Ryan, Shelley (Ron) North, all of Salt Lake; Jennifer Browning, West Valley; grandmother, Arlene Browning, Salt Lake City; niece, Taylor Ryan.

Funeral services will be held Monday, 12 noon, at the Taylorsville 25th Ward, 4505 South 3420 West. Friends may call Sunday, 5-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, and Monday at the church, 10:30-11:45 a.m. Interment, Murray City Cemetery.

WEEKEND ACCIDENTS CLAIM OREGON MAN AND A UTAH TEEN

An Oregon man and a Utah teen died in separate accidents last week in southern Utah.

Killed were: Jason Carolus, 21, Oregon, and Brent Browning, 15. Carolus died at the scene when a Chevy Blazer rolled Saturday 20 miles east of Kanab in Kane County, according to the Department of Public Safety's Highway Safety division.

Carolus, who was a passenger in the Blazer, was not wearing a seat belt. Another passenger was injured; the driver suffered only minor injuries in the 1:40 p.m. accident.

Browning, a sophomore at Taylorsville High, died Thursday of injuries suffered in a Jeep rollover about 6 p.m. near Crescent Junction, Grand County, on I-70. The driver, 16-year-old Elizabeth King of West Valley City, was transported to a Grand Junction, Colo., hospital. Her condition was unknown Tuesday.
