ATCHISON, Kan. - Anna F. (Libel) Brox, 85, Atchison, died Tuesday, Feb. 9, 1999, at a health-care center in Atchison. 
Born in Andale, Kan., on Feb. 3, 1914, Mrs. Brox attended schools in that area. She was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church, Good Intent, Kan., where she had been active in the Altar Society. 
On Oct. 22, 1940, she married George W. Brox in Andale. They made their home near Atchison all their married lives. He died in 1993. 
Mrs. Brox also was preceded in death by her parents, George and Julia Libel. 
Surviving: a son, Harold, Virginia; a daughter, Louise Herndon, Phoenix, Ariz.; a brother, Joe Libel, Mount Hope, Kan.; and four grandchildren. 
Mass of Christian Burial: 11 a.m. Friday, St. Louis Catholic Church, Good Intent, west of Atchison. Burial: church cemetery. Parish rosary: 7 p.m. Thursday, at the Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home, Atchison, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday. Memorials may be made to the St. Louis Catholic Church.
